In 2010, Anderson addressed Pop Entertainment about her experience filming the drama that catapulted her to fame, saying, \u201cI\u2019m lucky that there was even a character to play, because in the book, there isn\u2019t much of one.\u201d When Laura [Ingalls] penned the Little House novels\u2014which served as the basis for the television show and the focal point of the narrative\u2014she was a considerably older lady. She was reminiscing about her finest moments. Not much was determined by the personalities of Ma and Mary. While Mary wasn\u2019t present as much, there was a lot of Laura, Pa, Jack the dog, and Mr. Edwards. It\u2019s a blessing that they realized I could act.<\/p>\n

Following Mary Ingalls, she attempted a number of small jobs before marrying television producer Michael Sloan in 1990. The couple moved to Montreal in 2002 with their two kids, Griffin and Piper, and daughter Piper.<\/p>\n
