It\u2019s still a common misconception that the Olsen twins are identical twins. Since the Olsen sisters are fraternal twins, it\u2019s possible that they have completely different appearances. Like any other siblings, they only share half of their genes.<\/p>\n
Their mother took them to an audition for the popular American television comedy \u201cFull House,\u201d which ran from 1987 to 1995, when they were just six months old. The producer chose the Olsen twins over the other set of twins who had been selected by the production crew to play \u201cMichelle Tanner\u201d in the series.<\/p>\n
