\u201cFifty-two percent (52%) of whites, 40% of black voters, 55% of Hispanics and 47% of other minorities approve of Vance as the Republican vice-presidential candidate,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n
Vance got the approval of 54 percent of men, 47 percent of women, 47 percent of voters under for 40 and 51 percent of those who were older in the survey.<\/p>\n
\u201cFifty-two percent (52%) of self-identified conservative voters Strongly Approve of Vance as the GOP\u2019s vice-presidential candidate, as do 17% of moderates and 13% of liberals,\u201d the report said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe choice of Vance as Trump\u2019s running mate is approved by 58% of government employees, 48% of private sector workers, 54% of entrepreneurs and 50% of retirees,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n
Vice President Kamala Harris has reportedly reached out to Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) and left a message of congratulations after being chosen as former President Donald Trump\u2019s running mate, Politico reported, citing a Joe Biden campaign official.<\/p>\n
The campaign official said that Harris has expressed \u201cher hope that the two can meet in the vice presidential debate proposed by CBS News.\u201d<\/p>\n
Harris and Vance are expected to participate in a debate later this summer. The Biden campaign has agreed to a debate hosted by CBS, scheduled for July 23 or August 13. Meanwhile, the Trump campaign has not rejected the invitation, but has instead accepted an invite from Fox News for the vice presidential faceoff, Politico\u00a0reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n
