Simply titled, \u201cMelania,\u201d the memoir is set to be released this fall.<\/p>\n
\u201c\u2018Melania\u2019 is a powerful and inspiring story of a woman who has carved her own path, overcome adversity and defined personal excellence,\u201d said a press released on Thursday. \u201cThe former First Lady invites readers into her world, offering an intimate portrait of a woman who has lived an extraordinary life. Melania includes personal stories and family photos she has never before shared with the public.\u201d<\/p>\n
The release said there\u00a0will be two separate editions of \u201cMelania\u2019 \u2013 a \u201cCollector\u2019s Edition\u201d and a \u201cMemoir Edition.\u201d \u201cMelania\u201d is being published by Skyhorse Publishing.<\/p>\n
The former first lady has largely kept a low profile since leaving the White House. However, she recently appeared at last week\u2019s Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, where her husband officially became the Republican nominee, Fox News noted<\/a>.<\/p>\n Just days ago, she released a statement in which she pleaded for national unity following the assassination attempt against her husband.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I watched that violent bullet strike my husband, Donald, I realized my life, and Barron\u2019s life, were on the brink of devastating change\u2026 A monster who recognized my husband as an inhuman political machine attempted to ring out Donald\u2019s passion \u2013 his laughter, ingenuity, love of music, and inspiration,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n \u201cThe core facets of my husband\u2019s life \u2013 his human side \u2013 were buried below the political machine,\u201d the statement read. \u201cDonald, the generous and caring man who I have been with through the best of times and the worst of times,\u201d the former first lady wrote. \u201cLet us not forget that differing opinions, policy, and political games are inferior to love.<\/p>\n \u201cOur personal, structural, and life commitment \u2013 until death \u2013 is at serious risk. Political concepts are simple when compared to us, human beings. We are all humans, and fundamentally, instinctively, we want to help one another. American politics are only one vehicle that can uplift our communities. Love, compassion, kindness and empathy are necessities,\u201d Melania continued.<\/p>\n She concluded: \u201cAnd let us remember that when the time comes to look beyond the left and the right, beyond the red and the blue, we all come from families with the passion to fight for a better life together, while we are here, in this earthly realm. Dawn is here again. Let us reunite. Now. This morning, ascend above the hate, the vitriol, and the simple-minded ideas that ignite violence. We all want a world where respect is paramount, family is first, and love transcends. We can realize this world again. Each of us must demand to get it back.
