It\u2019s a good idea to get it checked out, though, especially if it\u2019s bothersome.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"1-1\" class=\"jumplink-headers\">Oral Mucous Cyst Symptoms<\/h2>\n<p>There are two types. Mucoceles show up on the inside of your lower lips, your gums, the roof of your\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmd.com\/oral-health\/ss\/slideshow-mouth-problems\" data-crosslink-type=\"slideshow\" data-metrics-link=\"\">mouth<\/a>, or under your\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmd.com\/oral-health\/picture-of-the-tongue\" data-crosslink-type=\"article\" data-metrics-link=\"\">tongue<\/a>. Those on the floor of the mouth are called ranulas.
