Mark took pleasure in strolling along the street outside his house on Christmas Eve every year to observe how his neighbors decorated their homes. He liked watching the twinkling lights and the cheerful decorations. However, one house always stood out from the rest. It lacked Christmas lights, and its front yard was consistently empty.<\/p>\n

The teenager didn\u2019t know much about the homeowner because she never talked to anyone. An old lady lived in that house on that corner of the street, but she rarely interacted with the neighbors or accepted invites from others.
