I stood there in disbelief. It felt like my heart had been ripped out. I didn\u2019t scream. The tears didn\u2019t even come. There was only silence and pain. I didn\u2019t know where to go. I didn\u2019t know how to go on.<\/p>\n

I just stood and prayed to wake up from this nightmare.<\/p>\n

A distant relative picked me up. He lived alone in a village and gave me shelter. I didn\u2019t call my son. I didn\u2019t want to hear his voice.<\/p>\n

A month passed. And then \u2014 he came.<\/p>\n
