Russian intelligence gathered damaging information about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton\u2019s health during her 2016 presidential campaign, including evidence that she had \u201cpsycho-emotional problems<\/a>\u201d that were being treated with severe sedatives, but Vladimir Putin chose not to release it before the election because he believed the Democrat would win.<\/p>\n

The startling facts were contained in a House Intelligence Committee report on Russia\u2019s impact on the 2016 election, which was declassified and made public by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The SVR, Russia\u2019s foreign intelligence service, \u201cpossessed DNC communications that Clinton was suffering from \u2018intensified psycho-emotional problems, including uncontrolled fits of anger, aggression, and cheerfulness,’\u201d according to the report, which the committee based on 20 interviews with intelligence officers and FBI agents, as well as a review of source material for the 2017 Obama-ordered report on Russian election meddling.<\/p>\n

\u201cClinton was placed on a daily regimen of \u2018heavy tranquilizers,\u2019 and while afraid of losing, she remained \u2018obsessed with a thirst for power.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

By September 2016, some of the exchanges revealed that then-President Barack Obama and Democratic party leaders deemed Clinton\u2019s health \u201cextraordinarily alarming\u201d and worried that it would have a \u201cserious negative impact\u201d on her chances to defeat Trump that November.<\/p>\n

Clinton, 77, was reportedly suffering from \u201cType 2 diabetes, ischemic heart disease, deep vein thrombosis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease\u201d at the time.<\/p>\n

Clinton advisers guarded a full picture of the former first lady\u2019s condition with the \u201cstrictest secrecy.\u201d<\/p>\n

The SVR also \u201cpossessed a campaign email discussing a plan approved by Secretary Clinton to link Putin and Russian hackers to candidate Trump in order to \u2018distract the [American] public\u2019 from the Clinton email server scandal.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) echoed Gabbard\u2019s accusation that Hillary Clinton was taking tranquilizers while in office.<\/p>\n

Gabbard had given a long remark on previously disclosed papers during a White House press briefing the day before. These documents, she said, proved that former President Barack Obama\u2019s government was orchestrating a \u201ccoup\u201d against then-President-elect Donald Trump. Gabbard accused the Obama administration of pushing the idea that Russia and Trump collaborated to influence the 2016 election.<\/p>\n

The director also suggested that Russia had damaging material against Clinton but had chosen not to reveal it. This included alleged proof that Clinton suffered from \u201cpsychoemotional problems, uncontrolled fits of anger, aggression, and cheerfulness.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Gabbard, Clinton was \u201con a daily regimen of heavy tranquilizers\u201d to address these concerns.<\/p>\n

During a discussion about the Trump administration\u2019s investigation into the Obama administration, Marshall repeated the tranquilizer theory and accused Clinton of \u201ccraving for all the power she can get.\u201d<\/p>\n

Barack Obama is given a report from the intelligence agency saying that Russia had minimal impact on the election, and Barack says, \u2018Oh no, let\u2019s change that narrative,\u201d Marshall said.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s go out there and delegitimize the election and tell the American people that Russia interfered with the election.\u2019 Otherwise, how in the world could Hillary Clinton be beaten? Never mind that she was on tranquilizers at the time and to her wits\u2019 end, and was craving for all the power she can get,\u201d Marshall added.<\/p>\n

The U.S. Department of Justice has formed a \u201cstrike force<\/a>\u201d to investigate the evidence made public by Gabbard regarding Obama and his top national security and intelligence officials\u2019 alleged involvement in the origins of the Trump-Russia collusion narrative.<\/p>\n

The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced Wednesday evening the formation of a \u201cstrike force\u201d to investigate potential next legal steps resulting from Gabbard\u2019s recent declassification of records indicating that Obama administration officials \u201cmanufactured\u201d intelligence to create the narrative that then-candidate Donald Trump was colluding with Russia to influence the 2016 presidential election.<\/p>\n

A source close to the strike squad told Fox News Digital that everything is being assessed and that no major leads are off the table. The Justice Department\u2019s National Security Division would \u201clikely be involved in the investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n
