An oil grill is where the burgers go. Place a ball of meat (1\/3 pound or 1\/6 pound for thinner burgers\/see note) on the hot grill and mash it lightly with a sharp spoon.<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\">Top with a small handful of onions, sliced very thinly, mash the burger to the very end, and pour the onions with the meat.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"google-auto-placed ap_container\">\n<div class=\"separator\">When the bottom is dark brown and the burger is about done, scrape it under the burger to get the \u201ccrust\u201d and flip it.<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\">Continue cooking for another 1-2 minutes.
