For me, it was curiosity. What can people do to make the audience laugh? Take the ventriloquist Paul Zerdin, for example. Yes, we have seen people make their puppet talk. The conversation is hilarious and, at times, a teensy bit controversial. But when you are in the quarter-finals of such a renowned show, you definitely need to take it up a notch.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Well, that\u2019s exactly what Paul did. He seemed to prepare a skit with an enjoyable twist. Initially, he is doing his usual bits with his puppet, Sam, sassy as always. Sam began arguing with Paul. This gets to a point when the two argue who is dependent on whom.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Then Paul bestows the duties of handling the remainder of the performance on his own and storms off. As promised, Sam keeps on going without Paul.
