She continued, despite the fact that prior doctors had discounted her symptoms, that she had been in pain for a long time.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7901\" src=\"https:\/\/writical.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/C2-4.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Bindi wrote:<em>\u00a0\u201cDear Friends, I battled for a long time wondering if I should share this journey with you in such a public space. Trying to remain a positive person &amp; hide the pain has been a very long road. These last 10yrs have included many tests, doctors visits, scans, etc.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cA doctor told me it was simply something you deal with as a woman &amp; I gave up entirely, trying to function through the pain. I didn\u2019t find answers until a friend @lesliemosier helped set me on a path of regaining my life.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, Bindi opted for surgery in a bid to manage the pain and get to the root of the problem once and for all.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGoing in for surgery was scary but I knew I couldn\u2019t live like I was,\u201d\u00a0she added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery part of my life was getting torn apart because of the pain. To cut a long story short, they found 37 lesions, some very deep &amp; difficult to remove, &amp; a chocolate cyst. @seckinmd\u2019s first words to me when I was in recovery were, \u2018How did you live with this much pain?\u2019 Validation for years of pain is indescribable. My family &amp; friends who have been on this journey with me for 10+ yrs \u2013 THANK YOU, for encouraging me to find answers when I thought I\u2019d never climb out. Thank you to the doctors &amp; nurses who believed my pain. I\u2019m on the road to recovery &amp; the gratitude I feel is overwhelming.
