They have a thick double coat to protect them from the cold, and a thick furry tail that wraps around their face for extra warmth. Huskies are known for their incredible strength and endurance, and have been used for hauling heavy loads, as well as for sledding across vast distances.<\/p>\n

But once domesticated, this particular pet becomes excellent protection for a child. In the clip below, a baby gets ready for his nap. The family\u2019s giant furry companion is already cozy on the bed. To obtain adequate sleep, the toddler finishes his milk first. The husky by his side waits impatiently.<\/p>\n
