His name is synonymous with a famous superhero that we\u2019ll never forget.<\/p>\n
But Christopher Reeve wasn\u2019t just an actor but a film director, producer, screenwriter, equestrian, and activist.<\/p>\n
His millions of fans were left stunned after he was thrown from a horse and became confined to a wheelchair in 1995.<\/p>\n
He was only 42 years old when he became a quadriplegic.<\/p>\n
