(Photo by Jason Merritt\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Schwarzenegger, 76, shared a video on social media yesterday of him and his pet pig out for a walk.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCome on, Schnelly,\u201d Arnie repeats as the pig follows behind him. \u201cWe\u2019ve got to go on our fitness walk. We got to lose some fat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNothing like a Tuesday morning walk with my Schnelly!\u201d the actor wrote in the caption. Many fans related to the pig, apparently oinking in complaint about the workout.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSchnelly Is definitely protesting,\u201d one comment reads.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGo schnelly!!! You\u2019re the cutest fat and all,\u201d another wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Schnelly has grown a lot since Arnie first introduced the adopted pig to fans last May. \u201cThe family is growing,\u201d Schwarzenegger wrote, sharing a photo of himself holding Schnelly \u2014 then a wee piglet \u2014 as well as his pet dog Cherry.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-52903\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/hasanjasim.online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/343447651_182136838062362_5579539261718961575_n-971x1024.jpg?resize=640%2C675&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Speaking to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Elex_Michaelson\/status\/1651994379958239234\">FOX 11 program\u00a0<em>The Issue Is<\/em><\/a>, Schwarzenegger explained that the pig\u2019s name comes from the German word \u201cschnell,\u201d which means \u201cfast.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen we brought [him] home, [he] ran out of the house, ran all over the property, and we couldn\u2019t catch [him],\u201d Arnie said. (It seems that Schnelly has lost some of his interest in cardio over the past year.)<\/p>\n<p>In January, Schwarzenegger shared another photo of his beloved pig. \u201cSchnelly loves his cookies, and I love my Schnelly,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-52904\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/hasanjasim.online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/419699875_18411440752033881_2085225914252903728_n.jpg?w=640&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Schwarzenegger\u2019s home is filled with many animals, including a donkey named Lulu, a miniature horse named Whiskey and three dogs: Dutch, Schnitzel and Cherry.<\/p>\n<p>But he\u2019s always had a special fondness for pigs. He previously had a pet pig named Bacon, a decision inspired by his\u00a0<em>Batman &amp; Robin<\/em>\u00a0co-star George Clooney, who had a pet pig named Max.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI always liked that he was into pigs; he has this little pig that he takes everywhere,\u201d Schwarzenegger told the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dispatch.com\/story\/entertainment\/2014\/03\/31\/arnold-schwarzenegger-has-300-pound\/23546806007\/\">Columbus Dispatch in 2014<\/a>. \u201cSo I bought a pig right after that. Only thing is, I must\u2019ve bought the wrong one because, in no time, it was 300 pounds and I could barely lift the son of a gun.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Schwarzenegger has been busy with a new venture as a healthy lifestyle coach: fans can subscribe to his \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/arnoldspumpclub.com\/\">Arnold\u2019s Pump Club<\/a>\u201d newsletter, \u201cthe daily email that makes it easier to live a healthier, happier life without all the confusion and stress.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Last year, Schwarzenegger revealed that he had to \u201cstart from scratch\u201d after a near-death experience following a botched open heart surgery. Video showed him taking his first steps around the hospital, easing his way back into a fitness regimen.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Starting from Scratch: Coming Back from Heart Surgery\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/F-vTVjV-2x8?feature=oembed\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI wanted to get really going with exercise, get out of the house as quickly as possible, and then get going with the training again because three months later I started with Terminator 6, so I had to be in shape. I had to move around, run around, lift things up, do the fight scenes, and all of these kinds of things.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite that health setback, Schwarzenegger is in great shape, and says he eats healthy, exercises and rides his bike every day.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI love everything that I do. There\u2019s no retiring,\u201d he told the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/news\/politics-news\/arnold-schwarzenegger-u-s-president-candidates-1235627253\/\">Hollywood Reporter<\/a>\u00a0last year. \u201cI\u2019m still on this side of the grass, so I\u2019m happy.
