The couple\u2019s children, Harrison and Annabelle, said \u2018her love\u00a0and happiness carried us through our whole lives\u2019. \u2018Mum is our best friend and we\u2019re honoured to have received a love like hers,\u2019 they added.<\/p>\n

Davis said he felt like he could achieve anything with his wife by his side, comparing it to the feeling of having a \u2018superpower\u2019.<\/p>\n

The wife of Harry Potter star Warwick Davis has died at the age of 53. Samantha Davis, who was also an actor, met her husband when she had an uncredited role in his 1988 film Willow<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He said her mobility had become impaired in recent years but shared how she was determined not to let it bring her down.<\/p>\n

She had a brush with death in 2019 when she fell ill with\u00a0sepsis<\/span>\u00a0ahead of a family holiday.<\/p>\n

Davis previously told how he and the couple\u2019s children \u2018sort of said goodbye\u2019 by her bedside before she pulled through.<\/p>\n

The actor and his wife lost baby son Lloyd just nine days after he was born in 1991 \u2013 the year they got married.<\/p>\n

Davis said in 2022 that he would not wish the \u2018devastating\u2019 experience on anyone and added: \u2018You never get over it.\u2019<\/p>\n

He and Samantha met when Davis starred as sorcerer Willow Ufgood in the 1988 film named after the character.<\/p>\n

Samantha and her father Peter \u2013 who is Davis\u2019s business partner \u2013 had minor roles as villagers.<\/p>\n

She also had an uncredited role as a a goblin in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 in 2011, in which Davis portrayed Filius Flitwick \u2013 Hogwarts\u2019 charms professor \u2013 for the final time.<\/p>\n

In 1989, she had a part in BBC educational series Through the Dragon\u2019s Eye.<\/p>\n

Davis and Mr Burroughs, 77, co-founded Willow Management in 1995 with the aim of changing the way people with dwarfism were represented on screen.<\/p>\n

Mr Burroughs is also an actor and has appeared both on stage and in TV and film productions including The Legend of King Arthur, Hamlet, and as an Ewok in 1983 Star Wars film Return of the Jedi.<\/p>\n

Davis and his wife have actress daughter Annabelle, 27, and son Harrison, 21, together.<\/p>\n
