When Ganczewski asked Josephine to be his prom date, she initially declined, telling her\u00a0grandson<\/a>\u00a0that she was just grateful for feeling loved on Mother\u2019s Day weekend.<\/p>\n

Though, undeterred, Ganczewski convinced her, and on the day of the prom, Josephine sported a beautiful dress and a corsage. Worried about her\u00a0dancing\u00a0skills, she soon discovered that the night\u2019s joy was simply about being with her grandson.<\/p>\n

In an interview with\u00a0CBS Los Angeles, Ganczewski expressed his love for his grandmother. \u201cShe is the most important woman in my life. If it wasn\u2019t for her, my mom wouldn\u2019t be here, and she wouldn\u2019t have had me. And I love her, and I\u2019d do anything for her,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
