Glynis Johns, an English actress best known for her part as Mrs. Banks in the classic movie “Mary Poppins,” died in Los Angeles at the age of 100.
The news was confirmed by her manager, Mitch Clem, who said, “Glynis powered her way through life with intelligence, wit, and a love for performance, changing millions of lives.”
He also thought about how she had affected his career and the industry as a whole. “She came into my life early in my career and set a very high bar on how to navigate this industry with grace, class, and truth,” he said.
