The stories are real! Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn are expecting a new addition to their family!
The grandparents, who already have seven grandkids, will gain another member of their family when their son Wyatt Russell and his wife Meredith Hagner give birth to their second child early in the new year.
Meredith announced on Instagram that she would have a son as her second child in February 2024.
Buddy Prine Russell, her and Wyatt’s kid, was born in 2021.
“So excited to share we have another little boy coming in February,” Meredith said on Instagram. “I am incredibly appreciative.”
Wyatt previously told Entertainment Online after the birth of his first kid, “It’s everything you didn’t know it was going to be.” It’s all about him and your family now, and finding a happy medium.
Kurt and Goldie are both overjoyed to be grandparents. According to Hello! Magazine, Hawn’s grandkids nickname her “GoGo!” Goldie and Kurt Hudson are the grandparents of Kate Hudson’s Ryder, Bingham, and Rani Hudson, Oliver Hudson’s Wilder, Bojdi, and Rio Hudson, and Wyatt Hudson’s Buddy.
Goldie has embraced her position as a grandma, shifting from advising to training her children via her deeds.
“You have to be realistic, compassionate, and earn a living through work.” She told Variety in March of this year, “I’m passing that on because it’s something my father taught me: stay grounded.”
Meredith, who married Wyatt in 2019, previously shared an Instagram photo of herself pregnant with a heartfelt comment about being a parent.
“When your child is born, you are reborn.” as a mother. She went on to say, “She may be a stranger to you for a little while, but the essence of who you are, all the magic that makes you so uniquely YOU, is there.” “The you that has been 36 years in the making will exist in a different energy entirely, and there is a new stranger attached to you both physically and energetically.”
