While this position may seem modest, the profound impact he has on the patients he serves reveals the significant difference he makes in enhancing their hospital experience, ensuring it is as pleasant and soothing as possible.

nderstanding that patients often experience fear and anxiety, Lindon consistently goes above and beyond to alleviate their distress, bringing smiles to their faces. He begins by introducing himself, stating, “My name is Lindon and I’ll be your chauffeur.” Following this introduction, he engages in what he loves most—singing to his patients. Many are so touched by this thoughtful gesture that they are moved to tears of joy.

Remarkably, he has maintained this practice for nearly 31 years, singing to every patient he encounters.

When he first began his tenure at the hospital, singing was a natural inclination for him, but he soon recognized the positive effect it had on anxious patients. It is not uncommon for patients to join in, creating a captivating atmosphere filled with music and camaraderie.

This experience allows patients to feel valued and unique, providing them with a temporary escape from their worries, which is immensely meaningful.

Lindon’s extraordinary approach to his work is truly exceptional, and the world would benefit greatly from more individuals like him.
