Jon Bon Jovi is being praised as a hero for his heroic rescue of a woman on a Nashville bridge.

As he was filming a music video, the singer noticed a distressed woman on the edge and rushed over to help.

With remarkable bravery, he and his partner walked up to her and persuaded her to climb back to safety.
