The presence of the crow, traditionally seen as a symbol of mystery and transformation, evoked various interpretations among the attendees. Many considered it a sign of the girl’s soul taking flight, while others saw it as an omen, a messenger from the spirit world crossing the boundary between life and death.

As the ceremony progressed, the crow remained poised, almost as if it were part of the ritual itself. The attendees watched in silence, their grief momentarily overshadowed by the bird’s unexpected visit. It was as if nature was paying its respects, acknowledging the life that was and the void left behind.
