The Community Reacts

The Hawthorne Ridge Police Department confirmed an investigation was underway to find out who had abandoned the child. Detectives began checking nearby cameras, and social services was notified.

News of the rescue spread quickly. The community was shocked, but deeply moved that the baby had been found in time. Messages poured into the station — emails, letters, even handwritten notes of gratitude. Many of them mentioned Ranger by name, calling him the true hero of the day.
