The doctor even suggested that the boy might be pretending to avoid going to kindergarten. But the child, trembling with fear, pleaded:

The woman took a small flashlight, gently tilted the boy’s head, and looked into his ear. Her face instantly turned pale. She stepped back and screamed — out of shock and horror. Continued in the first comment
Deep inside the ear canal, something was moving. Tiny white larvae were wriggling, clinging to the walls of the skin.
The parents froze in disbelief, unable to comprehend what they were seeing. An ENT specialist was immediately called. Using a microscope, he carefully removed several larvae and flushed the ear with a special solution.
