The campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris might have thought that a comedian’s comments on Puerto Rico would drive Puerto Rican voters from former President Donald Trump, but the data suggests otherwise.
A new poll from Cygnal Polling And Analytics, which was done after the former president’s rally in Madison Square Garden where the insult comedian Tony Hinchcliffe referred to Puerto Rico as a “floating island of garbage,” said that the president is in the lead with Puerto Rican voters, ahead of his opponent.
