Earlier this year, an abandoned puppy was discovered tied to a tree on a farm in central Georgia. Helpless and exposed to the elements, the dog had spent four long years enduring the scorching sun, heavy rains, and relentless hunger.
When rescuers found him, his condition was heart-wrenching. Weighing only 11 kg (24 lbs), far below the healthy weight for his Pit Bull breed, the puppy was malnourished, bruised, and visibly weak.
His story, however, was about to take a dramatic turn toward hope and recovery.
