The climax occurred when Roy was calmly standing next to his owner. The bride approached the dog and, looking straight into the groom’s eyes, purposely stepped on Roy’s tail. The dog yelped and, in a defensive reaction, bit the bride’s hand. Everyone froze.

The bride screamed in pain, grabbed a bottle from the table, and raised it, preparing to hit the dog.

“Don’t touch my dog, you provoked her!” the groom said sharply.
